From leopard print cardigans to plaid coats, sweater dresses to balloon sleeved sweaters, I am sharing my favorite fall trends to watch. Fall is by far my favorite season for fashion. Summer is my most favorite of seasons in general, but I love sweaters, cardigans and boots so much more than tank tops and shorts. Every summer I curse myself for having so many sweaters and not nearly as many clothes suitable for > 80 degree weather. I know, I know… I make no sense.

Leopard Print Cardigan
I never used to be much of a leopard print kind of girl, but I have started to come around to it. Really, I mean how cute is this cardigan?! I was drawn to this piece for its neutral tones and it looked super soft and comfortable. And the looks are not deceiving! This cardigan is seriously comfortable. Pair it with boots, faux leather leggings and a hat and you have yourself a super cute casual chic look!
Random side note: Daniel (my husband) could not stop calling me “Carol Baskins” when I first got this cardigan. Although, he sheepishly admitted after this photo shoot that this cardigan outfit was his favorite of all of them. Ha!
Sweater Dress
A cozy sweater dress is an absolute staple for the fall and winter seasons. This is not just one of those fall trends to watch. This is something you will wear year after year. I love the unique style of this dress including the cable knit detail on the bottom half, along with the turtleneck and the balloon sleeves. And it looks fantastic paired with over-the-knee boots!
Plaid Pattern Coat
Plaid patterns are always in-style for fall! This coat’s colors literally emulate the changing fall leaves. Not to mention, the asymmetric silhouette is cool as hell. When you go out in this coat, you will definitely stand out among the rest (in the best way)! It’s also super comfortable and cozy.
Balloon Sleeve Sweaters
Balloon sleeve sweaters are majorly popular right now and I am 100% here for it! This one draws even more attention to the sleeves with the lay of the color blocks. I tucked this one in at the middle and added a belt. You could also pair this with leggings and sneakers for a more laid back look.
