Black Jeans With Leather Jacket: A Casual Fall Look

I don’t know about you, but I feel like this fall seems to be going by so fast yet so slow at the same time. My husband and I went to a local park near the water a few weeks ago and I could not get over the gorgeous fall leaves. I absolutely love the vibrant oranges and reds. I am sharing the details on my outfit that is perfect for cooler temperatures in the fall season! These black jeans with a leather jacket make for a nice casual look.

Style Meets Comfort and Versatility

This leather jacket is one of my favorite purchases this season. The best part is the removable hoodie insert. Yep! That hoodie is part of the jacket. If you have a look you’d rather not have the hoodie for you can easily unzip and remove the insert. Freaking brilliant, right? Not to mention the super soft and comfortable lining on the inside of the jacket!

Dress It Down (Or Up)

I decided to pair the jacket with some distressed black jeans as I wanted a more casual look. Additional options could include dark wash jeans (lighter washes would work too – I just love dark wash most), leggings, or even a dress, romper or jumpsuit. For a dressed up look nix the hoodie insert and wear with a dress or nice blouse and dark wash jeans. Ask my work friends, I am literally nicknamed “blouse” for my blouse love. What can I say? Who doesn’t like a nice blouse? And boots. I have a serious boot addiction. How about you? I know I have some boot lovers reading this right now!

The left picture below shows a dressed up jacket outfit without the hoodie insert and paired with a dress. This look would be perfect for the holidays!

Boots Are Always A Good Choice

Speaking of boots, these boots are super comfortable and high quality. They are perfect for your day-to-day looks and pair well with most everything! Especially the trending shacket styles. Check out these boots paired with a shacket in this post, here. Don’t know what a shacket is? No worries friend, I explain that in the post too. Not a boot person? A nice pair of sneakers would work great with this outfit as well!

Love this black jeans with leather jacket look? I will attach each piece and/or similar pieces below. A big tip for some of these purchases like the Marc Fisher or Coach boots is to wait for sales! Marc Fisher/Coach are major quality, but tend to be on the more expensive side. I got these boots during a huge sale at Macy’s! I would say all clothing worn in this outfit is true to size (TTS). I’ve noticed all of my Marc Fisher boots trend TTS, so definitely get your usual. For the Coach boots, I go with a half size down. I also noticed the leather jacket is listed under juniors’ so I would go up a size. I usually wear size small in womens’, and the medium fit perfectly.

Be on the look-out for a post with more outfit inspiration for this jacket. What’s your favorite way to wear a leather jacket? Let me know in the comments!
